Ginny had a brilliant day on Friday at the Hertfordshire Growth Hub – All The Help You Can Get event, hosted at the beautiful Knebworth House and Barns.
The event kicked off with fascinating opening talks from Martha and Trish, who introduced the venue, its rich history, and the many uses of the estate (Ginny recalls attending Robbie Williams’ concert there in 2003 as well as other great events!). Alanna Kite from Visit Herts also shared valuable insights about the region.
Attendees had the opportunity to join informative breakout workshops led by Midnight Blue Marketing, Pearldrop Video Production, and InsightMCL. Ginny also heard great reviews about the session from New Leaf Academy.
The event was a fantastic chance to reconnect with existing contacts, meet new ones, and finally put faces to names. Hertfordshire truly boasts an incredible array of options and innovative businesses.
Of course, no event is complete without great food—lunch and the mid-morning cookies were a particular highlight!
Ginny did have a “schoolgirl error” moment, forgetting her business cards, but her trusty QR code came to the rescue. The surprise highlight of the day? Finding a single business card in her bag just in time for the Ideas Fest prize draw—and winning tickets to next year’s event!
